INSTRUMENT CABINETS Our cabinets and shelters are designed as sandwich constructions with inner and outer parts made from very strong GRP skins – or other materials such as aluminum sheet or stainless steel – and a core of closed cell light weight and insulating PU foam. This construction ensures high strength and rigidity and is unaffected by the environment.

INSTRUMENT CABINETS

The design spectrum covers nearly every application case, from an insulated cable distribution cabinet through Analyzer House or Radar Equipment Shelter to a complete – even multi-story – utility building with attached office. Whether in aggressive industrial atmosphere or extreme environmental conditions of the arctic or the desert – there are nearly no limits.

Materials

• Wall panels and doors Special sandwich design of polyurethane foam between layers of polyester, glass fibre reinforced
• Roof GRP with PU-foam core (20 mm thick)
• Floor Sandwich-floor with PU-foam core 25 mm or upon special request: GRP 5 mm

Fire performance

Material class B2, according DIN 4102, self extinguishing, acc. to small burner test

Option: material class B1, according DIN 4102, flame resistant

Other classifications possible (on request)

Heat transfer coefficient k = 1,4-1,5 W/ m² K for class B1 and B2

Temperature resistance -60° …+100° C, higher temperatures on request

Surface resistance 10¹² Ohm

Option: GO antistatic to avoid electrostatic charges according to EN IEC 60079-0
